It does not only look good, but most importantly, feels good.” “the goal is for you, the consumer, to not have to think about whether the tee you're wearing is recycled or not. You shouldn't have to treat it any differently than any other t-shirt you own, and you certainly shouldn't have to pay more for it than necessary.”

Our upcycled fabric saves, during its production, 11,9 kg of CO2, 7,762 liters of water and 29 kWh per kg “Over 100BN items of clothing and 500BN plastic bottles are being produced every year. Half goes to landfill, taking decades to decompose. All textile and plastic waste can be recycled, turned into a yarn and reused repeatedly.

GOTS CERTIFIED
ORGANIC COTTON

The vegetal fiber is blended with GOTS certified organic cotton from Portugal. Organic cotton is cotton that is produced and certified to organic agricultural standards. Its production sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs.

Organic cotton farming does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs (genetically modified organisms), instead combining tradition, innovation and science to benefit the environment and promote a good quality of life for all involved. Compared to growing regular cotton, organic cotton reduces field emissions from fertilizer, energy use, and needs less irrigation

ORGANIC COTTON

Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture.

Third-party certification organizations verify that organic producers use only methods and materials allowed in organic production. Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. In addition, federal regulations prohibit the use of genetically engineered seed for organic farming.

CARBON NEUTRAL

Neutrale has always been commited to sustainability and conscious fashion. Now, thanks to Dcycle, we are analysing our new product's lifecycle and compensating for all their emissions.

To do this we have had to undergo a complete trace of our production chain. From the harvesting or collection of our materials (organic cotton and recycled polyester), to its assemblage, dyeing, packaging and transport. Thanks to this detailed report we can calculate the direct and indirect emissions of each production phase.

After determining the exact carbon footprint of each of our products, we buy carbon credits from certified projects registered on the UN’s Climate Change Office, whose mission is to prevent future emissions and capture existing greenhouse gases in our environment.

By doing this we are making every new Neutrale product completly Carbon Neutral.
